MAGIK MFTSPOILERS here and there.

As a result of the fallout from Avengers vs. X-Men and perhaps an answer to DC's much ballyhooed New 52, The Uncanny X-Men received a new number one and a bold new direction. Again. A new direction, with a new roster and new creative team seems old hat by now for the X-Men. So, here we go again with Uncanny X-Men with Brian Michael Bendis writing, not so fresh feeling considering his lengthy stint on Ultimate X-Men and Chris Bachalo on art again. No complaints there, as he is always a welcome addition; however, I would love to see him spread his wings and maybe get back to his indie roots. (But, hey, if I got to draw X-Men, they'd have to claw me off the book with a pair of razor sharp adamantiums.)

Honey Boo Boo WWAs a follow-up to the unbridled success of Bluewater Comics' 15 Minutes: Honey Boo Boo, the comic book's artist/writer, Michael Troy, is answering the call of the pint-sized, titular character by immortalizing her as a comic book superhero.  Troy created four exclusive, classic collectible covers for the digital release of 15 Minutes: Honey Boo Boo, all of which were an homage to various superhero covers, including Wonder Woman in Sensation Comics #1 and Supergril in Action Comics #252.  The classic covers featuring Honey Boo Boo are now available for sale digitally for $1.99 each on iTunes, Kindle, Wowio, and My Digital Comics.

Wonter Tot MFTOkay, I'll be the first one to admit that I am not a big fan of child or baby versions of adult characters.  It's played out. It can be silly. It can be downright "goofy." (Just look at those damned Disney Babies - pun intended!)

Back when Chris Claremont introduced The X-Babies with Arthur Adams in an X-Nen Annual, I deemed it cringeworthy, yet tolerable, mostly due to the stellar art by the hyper-detailed Art of Adams. The X-Babies would show up periodically, just often enough to test my eye rolling ability.

Honey Boo BooArtist/writer Michael Fitzgerald Troy may be the busiest man in showbiz!  After the rerelease of his Mother Monster-endorsed Going Gaga! and his recent contributions to Bluewater Productions' Polka Spot: My Life in Pictures, Troy is at it again with the comic book 15 Minutes: Honey Boo Boo.  Troy's comic book uncovers the reasons behind America's fascination with the pint-sized Toddlers & Tiaras star. The comic is part of Bluewater's 15 Minutes series, which focuses on reality TV celebrities.

WW Kirstie MT*Please note that this article is an opinion-editorial.

Dancing with the Stars
has kicked off its hundred and fifty-seventh season, this time in the form of an all-star version. (Apparently, there is a limit to the number of celebrities willing to don gay apparel and wiggle it, just a little bit, for the prime time audience at large.)

I'm tuning in 'till past favorites Pamela Anderson and Kirstie Alley get kicked off.  Hey!  I'm a loyal fanboy,  I was one of the 5 people who saw Barb Wire in the theater. The only one not wearing a trench coat, albeit, but present nonetheless.

Which brings us to Kirstie Allie.
